JOB DESCRIPTION
The Virtual Scribe provides administrative support to physicians in a virtual environment in real time.
- Records medical history, examination, treatment plan and other clinical data in real-time while the physician interacts with the patient.
- Reminds physicians of treatment plans and other recommendations from previous visit notes.
- Provides a check and balance system to ensure visit documentation requirements are met, test results are received and prescriptions are refilled.
- Reminds physicians of documentation requirements for billing purposes.
- Responsible for alerting physicians on missing test results.
- Delivers comprehensive clinical documentation.
- Correlates clinical information and generate useful reports.
JOB QUALIFICATION
Minimum Qualifications
- Graduate of Medicine (licensed or underboard)
- Experience working as a Medical Transcriptionist is preferred
- Excellent English communication skills (spoken and written)
- Excellent listening skills
- Computer savvy, proficient in MS Office applications and use of technical/communication equipment
- Willing to work a Night Shift
- Willing to work in Makati City
