The Medical Historian is responsible for interviewing patients, retrieve and review information to compose accurate and complete medical records.
Job Description
1.Makes the initial call to the patient to schedule the interview.
2.Retrieves the source documents and review the information to get the medical background of the Patient.
3.Calls the Patient on the appointed schedule and proceeds to interview the Patient, guided by the Client’s questionnaire.
4.Analyzes the information obtained from the interview and creates a narrative following the Client-specified format.
5.Submits the report to the Production Supervisor .
College Degree – BS Nursing or other Medical allied course.
