JOB DESCRIPTION

Job Summary:
The main duty of the Nursing Assistant to assist the staff nurse in bedsidecare,
monitoring of vital signs, and tube feeding. They should focus on bedside routine.
Duties and Responsibilities:
1. The main purpose of the Nursing assistant to do initial assessment of
objective and subjective problem perceived by the client; execute minor
nursing tasks such as blood glucose monitoring.
2. To perform tube feeding and/or wound care.
3. Can be delegated to do charting of basic routine prescribed by the
Institution/Chief Nurse.
4. To accompany the resident for laboratory procedure outside the institution.
5. Assist the ward attendants in transferring the patient from bed to wheelchair
or vice versa if needed.
6. Weight monitoring every month.
7. Will assist the Staff Nurse in giving care to the patient.
8. To perform instruction from the staff nurse.

JOB QUALIFICATION

Qualifications:

  • Must be a Graduate of BS Nursing
  • With good work attitude
  • Must be a Filipino Citizen
  • With passion in giving care to the elderly
  • Willing to work stay-in
