DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Recruitment
-Receive and process manpower requests from Requesting Department Heads.
-Prepare and post job advertisements online, bulletin boards, and universities, or for publication. Maintain an adequate pool of applicants at all times.
-Maintain and update Job Descriptions of all positions from different departments.
-Schedule and conduct initial interview of applicants.
-Administer, check, and interpret applicants’ exam results then conduct employment verification and reference-checking of shortlisted applicants.
-Coordinate with the Department Heads on the final interview schedule of qualified applicants.
-Facilitate the processing of new employees’ Identification (ID) Card.
-Maintain and update applicant database and Stanford employee directory.
-Prepare, safe keep and update Employees 201 Files.
-Monitor employee movements (e.g., promotions, transfers, etc.) and ensure that these are documented.
2. Compensation & Benefits
-Generate employees’ attendance, tardiness, overtime and under time.
-Prepare payroll and generate pay slips (below 40 employees)
-Process employees’ 13th month pay.
-Reconcile payroll complaints, answer queries and does adjustments.
-Formulate and implement policies and procedures of new company benefits.
-Receive, monitor and record employee’s leave/undertime requests and overtime.
-Prepare last pay computation of resigned or terminated employees.
-Assist in the renewal and distribution of approved office uniforms.
3. Employee Relations
-Handles HR issues, concerns and/or giving assistance to employees regarding HR matters, policies, and procedures.
-Prepare and disseminate internal memos, advisories, government mandated holidays and/or in
-Ensure legal compliance through monitoring and implementing of applicable labor laws and practices.
-Provide recommendations on the update and/or improvement of HR policies and procedures.
-Conduct exit interviews and facilitate clearance and quitclaim processing of separated employees.
-Prepare and release Certificate of Employment upon request.
-Provide support and assistance to the General Manager, Operations Manager on appropriate disciplinary procedures and the best practices in employee relations.
-Receive Incident Reports, assist and guide Department Supervisors and Managers in implementing disciplinary actions.
-Prepare and serve disciplinary actions such as NTE's, NOD's, and conduct admin hearings or investigations as needed.
-Maintain and update database of employee case histories.
4. Training & Development
-Prepare and conduct new hires’ orientation.
-Coordinate with Department Heads or Supervisors to determine the training needs of employees in their respective departments.
-Prepare budget for training activities.
-Facilitate the dissemination of training information (e.g. schedule, venue, etc.) to employees.
-Prepare training materials and logistics (i.e., equipment, transportation, accommodation, venue, snacks, meals, certificates, evaluation/feedback instruments, manuals, etc.).
-Maintain and update pool of training vendors/providers. And any other tasks as may be assigned from time to time.
QUALIFICATIONS
Stanford Medical and Diagnostic Clinic, Inc. (also known as Stanford Laboratory) opened for business last October 1, 1991, on the 3rd floor of the Long Se Bldg., Osmena Blvd., Capitol Site, Cebu City. To serve its customers better, we moved to its new location on the Ground Floor of the Avon Plaza, Osmena Blvd., Capitol Site, Cebu City on June 9, 2015.
Aside from having fully automated machines, Stanford Laboratory also uses computer software like the Laboratory Information System (LIS) and Specimen Barcoding to ensure prompt and reliable results. Clients and/or attending physicians may either opt for computerized radiography (digital x-ray) or conventional x-ray (x-ray films).
Stanford Laboratory is duly licensed and accredited by the Department of Health to perform tests in hematology, clinical microscopy, clinical chemistry, serology and immunology, ECG, x-ray and ultrasound procedures and drug tests, either on-site (at Stanford Laboratory) or off-site (at mobile clinic sites).
