JOB DESCRIPTION

Training Excellence:
  • Monitors delivery of general, core and management training.
  • Coordinates and delivers ACE training programs.
  • Implements and monitors the company’s orientation programme.
  • Assists in ensuring that Departmental Trainers are appropriately trained.
  • Assists in ensuring the maximum utilization of Departmental Trainers in each department.
  • Assists in identifying the training needs within each department/ property.
  • Assists in ensuring property/ cluster meets training targets.
  • Assists in screening, training and monitoring of student trainees.
  • Ensures that all standards and guidelines outlined in the Company Operations Manuals are strictly adhered to.
  • Implements controls and creates mitigating measures, where necessary.
Employee Relations:
  • Plans, executes and evaluates staff engagement activities to ensure that satisfaction is progressively increasing.
  • Prepares and monitors budget for programs and activities.
  • Promotes and facilitates company employee recognition programs.
  • Implements controls and creates mitigating measures, where necessary.
Recruitment:
  • · Builds applicant sources by researching and contacting schools/universities, employment agencies, recruiters, media, and internet sites.
  • · Promote company branding by joining professional organizations, affiliations, schools/universities for networking purpose.
  • · Interviews job applicants to match their qualifications with Company’s needs and maintaining a database of these candidates.
  • · Establishes and maintains relationships with hiring managers to stay abreast of current and future hiring and business needs.
  • · Determines applicant requirements by studying job description and job qualifications.
  • · Arranges management interviews by coordinating schedules, assisting applicants to interviews and arranging community tours.
  • · Evaluates applicants by discussing job requirements and applicant qualifications to managers.
  • · Prepares hiring recommendation prior to job offer for qualified candidates.
  • · Ensures pre-employment requirements are complete and for filing in 201 file.
  • · Accurate encoding of new employee data in the HR system and CHRIS.
  • · Maintains a database of candidates for current and proactive sourcing.
Completes required reports in appropriate format and within set timeframes.

JOB QUALIFICATION

  • Strong computer skills and experience with office management and communication software
  • Ability to understand statistical data and mathematical concepts and how to apply them to HR processes
  • Excellent leadership, training and developmental skills
  • Strong decision-making skills
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
  • Expert in labor laws set by governing authorities and organizations
  • Ability to comprehend complex language, theories and methodologies
  • Time management and organizational skills
  • Graduate of Bachelor of Science in Psychology or equivalent. 
  • At least 5 years as HR Manager.
