JOB DESCRIPTION
JOB OVERVIEW
As the Company Nurse, you will be in charge of designing and implementing Health and Safety Programs, as well as analyzing health hazards and preventing and treating disease or injury as a result. You will promote employee health by assessing them at regular intervals, keeping health records for each employee, and maintaining good communication with company management about healthcare and safety.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Provide general first aid and emergency treatment in the workplace
- Develop and implement health and safety programs
- Keep track of all employee injuries and illnesses, and keep this information confidential
- Improve the health of employees through ongoing programs and health checks
- Administer basic over-the-counter medication to employees.
- Create a clean, and comfortable sickbay area
- Promote healthy eating and wellness programs
- Communicate regularly with management on the health status of employees
- Assist with day-to-day operations of the HR functions and duties 10. Assist the Human Resources Supervisor with clerical and administrative tasks i.e., coordination with the HMO provider
- Keeping track of and updating employee information i.e., 201 file, Employee Masterlist, and employee record in HRIS.
JOB QUALIFICATION
CORE COMPETENCIES
- Graduate of BS Nursing
- Registered Nurse with at least one year of relevant experience as a company or regular nurse
- Training in Occupational Health and Safety, is an advantage
- A warm and caring disposition
- Above average interpersonal and communication skills
- High standard of attention to detail
- Critical thinking
- Able to work independently
- Computer proficiency
