JOB DESCRIPTION

HR & ADMIN OFFICER

JOB SUMMARY: In-charge of Polematrix Systems & Construction, Inc., overall HR Functions including Recruitment & Selection, Timekeeping and Payroll Processing, Compensation & Benefits, Employee Relations, Performance Management, Admin functions, and other related tasks that may be assigned from time to time.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Recruitment & Selection
  1. Facilitates the entire recruitment process including administering exams, interviews, and endorsement of shortlisted applicants to the Dept. Heads/Director, job offer & giving pre-employment requirements.
  2. Facilitates the compliance of the onboarding checklist and contract signing of the newly hired employees.
  3. Conduct company policy orientation for new hires.
  • Timekeeping & Payroll Processing
  1. Generates timekeeping reports (total working days & overtime) every 10th & 25th of the month.
  2. Process Payroll for Office Employees and Site workers.
  3. Updates leave and deduction monitoring for payroll generation.
  • BIR & Government Statutory Benefits
  1. Process SSS, Philhealth & Pag-Ibig Payments & Reports every month.
  2. Facilitates SSS, Philhealth & Pag-Ibig-related requests of employees including the processing of loans, sickness, maternity, updating of records, and other related concerns.
  3. Distributes 2316 to all employees and submit signed 2316 to Finance at the end of February.
  • Employee Relations
  1. In-charge in planning & preparation of yearly company activities like Team Building & Christmas Party and other company-related activities.
  2. Issue a Notice to Explain and a Notice of Disciplinary Action / Decisions to erring employees.
  3. Process employment termination including exit interviews, processing of clearances/ last pay, and quitclaims.
  • Performance Management
  1. Submit and collect Performance Evaluation Forms to Dept. Head on probationary employees' 3rd and 5th month of probation
  2. Collate and summarize Performance Appraisals for regular employees.
  3. Facilitate/schedule feedback of employees with Immediate Superiors.

Admin & Others

  • Issue and disseminate Interoffice Memorandums and Organizational Announcements.
  • Facilitate purchasing of medicine, office supplies & other office-related needs.
  • Issue Acknowledge Equipment Accountability and Release Form (EAR Form), Company ID, Email Accounts, and COEs.
  • Manages the employee records (201 files, employment contracts) and issuance of necessary certificates of employment. 6. Close coordination with HR Officers on HR-related concerns.
  • Plan, organize and execute employee activities to strengthen employee engagement.
  • Performs other tasks that may be assigned from time to time.

 

 

 

 

 

 

JOB QUALIFICATION

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

  • Must possess at least Bachelor’s/College Degree in Human Resources Dev. Management, Psychology, or any related course.
  • Minimum 2 years of relevant working experience in Human Resources.
  • Must have experience in Telco/Electrical is a plus.
  • Understanding of general human resource policies and procedures.
  • Good knowledge of employment/labor laws.
  • Excellent verbal and oral communication skills
  • Honest and can keep confidential information
  • Knowledgeable of, and experience with, developing and updating HR manuals, policies, and procedures.
  • Must have an in-depth understanding of the principles and processes of the Human Resource function (e.g. payroll, recruitment, compensation and benefits, training, and performance management.
  • Willing to work at Mapulang Lupa, Valenzuela.

Max-tel Industries Corp. was formed in 2009. The corporation was created to cater to the growing business and clientele of our mother company Sonic Industrial Sales which was established in 1980. Our mother company began its operation with manufacturing pole line hardware materials later expanding its operations to trading and importation as well. From supplying electrical hardwares to National Power Corporation, our product line expanded to trading conductors, insulators, equipments and other accessories. In the last 15 years, we have concentrated in catering to Electrical Cooperatives all over the country and also some contractors and developers.

Today, our primary operation deals with manufacturing and trading of pole line hardware materials, importation of steel poles, insulators, cut-outs and arresters, power fuses, distribution, power transformer, recloser, disconnect switch, air break switch, Kilowatt Meter, Kilowatt Meterbase, fuse links, hotline clamp, deadend loop clamp, deadend strain clamp, armor rods among others. We carry complete line of transmission and distribution line hardware supplies from conductor cables, transformers, steel poles, pole line hardware, tools, grounding equipments and accessories. We cater 15KV line to 69KVA lines.

In 2007, our company added telecommunication hardwares and accessories to our product line to cater to the growing demands of our clientele. We have been supplying Globe Telecoms, PLDT, Bayantel and DIGITEL also some telecommunications contractors. With the expansion of clientele and product lines, Max-tel Industries Corp was created and it now carries electrical and telecoms products catering to NGCP, various Electrical Cooperative and various Telecommunications company. The Company also caters construction of electrical works and engineering design. We have highly qualified and experienced project engineers working with us. Our project engineers have vast experience as they were previously employed by electric cooperatives and members of IIEE.
