Company Overview

The company was incorporated under the laws of the Philippines and registered with the SEC on July 15, 1994. It is an affiliate of Megaworld Corporation, a corporation listed on Stock Exchange.

Prior to incorporation, Empire East land Holdings, Inc. (EELHI) was the Community Housing Division of Megaworld. This division was responsible for the development of mass housing projects (condominium communities or house and lot packages), sale of residential lots, sale/lease of commercial and industrial space. In 1994, Megaworld management made a decision to separate its business into a high-rise residential and office accommodations and master-planned townhouse communities on one hand, and lower and middle-income housing, on the other hand.

The company has recently launched its two (2) newest developments early in 2010 namely The Rochester located along Elisco Road in Pasig City and The Sonoma which is a residential house and lot project in Sta. Rosa Laguna. These two developments are being simultaneously marketed along with the three (3) pre-selling projects namely Little Baguio Terraces, Pioneer Woodlands and San Lorenzo Place. In early 2011, the company announced its newest projects, The Kasara along C-5 road and The Renaissance in the heart of Ortigas.

Currently, the company has completed the development of its township project- Laguna Bel Air IV, and the construction of two (2) mid-rise residential clusters- California Garden Square. The company is overseeing the ongoing construction of The Cambridge Village phase 4 , and the management of its twelve (12) completed projects Little Baguio Gardens, Central Business Park, Governors Place, San Francisco Gardens, Gilmore Heights, Kingswood, Pasadena Heights, Greenhills Garden Square Xavier Hills, and Laguna Bel Air I, II and III. These projects are in various stages of construction, development and marketing.

The company expanded its real estate business through the creation of its subsidiaries- Laguna Bel Air School, Inc. and Eastwood Property Holdings.
