The tradition of warm hospitality, constant need for connection, and love for coffee – these are the qualities that make Starbucks Coffee and the Filipino people a great culture fit.
Our story began in 1971. Back then we were a roaster and retailer of whole bean and ground coffee, tea and spices with a single store in Seattle’s Pike Place Market.
Today, we are privileged to connect with millions of customers every day with exceptional products and nearly 18,000 retail stores in 60 countries.
We’re committed to offering our customers the world’s best coffee and the finest coffee experience – while also conducting our business in ways that produce social, environmental and economic benefits for the communities in which we do business. We believe it’s possible to do well and do good at the same time.
Starbucks Mission Statement
To inspire and nurture the human spirit – one person, one cup and one neighborhood at a time.
